Newbies might be wondering that what are 'Ad Words' and what are they used for. The answer is that ad words are small advertisements that appear on the right side of a search result page at Google, the mighty search engine, which is used more than 150 million times per day to conduct searches offers ad words advertisement at its site. You might have noticed that when you searched at Google after the search term produced results small text links appear at the right side of the search results page under the title 'Sponsored links'. These are advertisements in the form of links no graphics are included here. These sponsored links are part of the Google Ad Words Select service. Google Ad Words is one simple and quick way to advertise. Regardless of your budget, you can actually get your text ads appearing on search result pages within minutes! You can also target your ad to a specific language or country. Googles Ad Word Select program is one of its recent offering in which the sponsor pays per click and not how many times it is shown on the page.
Your ads are only shown to users searching for specific words you have placed a bid on. With Google's syndication program your ads will also appear on their partner sites, Earthlink (http://www.Earthlink.com) and (http://www.Sympatico.ca) It is very difficult to make your website appear in the top 10 listings in Google and moreover you can't pay to come at the first position but you can definitely come in top 10 ad word listings if it is written wisely using very specific keywords instead of general ones. You only pay for a real visitor coming to your site that is the click to your site, in cost-per-click (CPC) pricing you pay only when a customer clicks on your ad, regardless of how many times your ad is shown. $0.05 is the minimum bid amount to be paid per click at Google. There are two primary factors to succeeding at Google Ad Words. The first is getting the right keywords. The second is writing little tiny ads.
Registration at Google for ad words requires opening an account which costs $5(U.S) and submitting credit card information for further billing. Before choosing your key-phrases you'll need to write your ads. Titles can be up to 25 characters and you get 2 lines of text at 35 characters each including your URL. No images or offensive language are allowed in your ad copy. Each ad is called an "ad group." An ad group is defined as a set of ads that appear for the same keywords and share the same CPC. You can create multiple ads within each ad group and they will be rotated in use. Ads that receive the most clicks eventually get shown more often and rise in position. Changes can be made to your ad copy at anytime. If an ad is irrelevant to users, they won't click on it and it will move down the page. After setting up your ads you'll need to select the key words or phrases you wish to bid on. You'll want to choose words users are most likely to type into Google's search box when looking for your products/services.
A higher position in advertisements depends on two factors; firstly the maximum bid you place on cost per click, secondly the rate of clicks on your ad. . Those keywords will be disabled whose click rate falls below 0.05%, if some of your keywords get deactivated then changes can be made to your ad copy and reactivated again.
Google has introduced this Ad Word Select program to reach almost every level of business whether big or small and because of its simple implementation and cost effectiveness small businesses are benefited a great deal. Although ad words offer great flexibility but they require keen understanding and time to monitor the ads. Most importantly your budget should be fixed and not a vague one.It is worth spending to hire a professional SEO for initializing an ad words campaign because even if you employ a full time employee to do this job for your business you would end up paying more to the employee at the end of a month as compared to paying an SEO and secondly your employee may not be as skilled and expert as a professional SEO in this field. Rest is up to you to decide.
Good Luck

Adsense – The Powerful Passive Income Generator
Webmasters have a revolutionary new method of collecting income from their websites.
Whereas in the past advertising revenue was reserved for those sites with large a coming and going of visitors, now even teenagers are making a quick buck with their online hobby blogs. People place adsense on their online family photo albums, their blogs and their business sites. The minimum you would get, even with a small amount of traffic, is for adsense to pay for your hosting costs.
Adsense revolutionized the world of paid advertising; banner advertising is based on the number of visitors you attract to your site, so the number of "banner impressions" dictate the revenue you receive. Google Adsense is quite different; it is the number of visitors that actually click on the advertising that determine how much you earn.
There is also a great disparity between payouts; because advertisers bid up the price for certain keywords, some ads pay more than others. As such, a site with few visitors but expensive keywords in their google ads can potentially still pull in a hefty payout.
Google really has taken the web by storm; attracted to passive income, more and more people are seriously capitalizing on their Google adsense advertising. Some of the highest earners manage to attract enough visitors to make a four figure monthly income, just from using adsense alone! This is not one of those get-rich-quick schemes and Google's adsense success is largely thanks to the fact that Google already enjoyed a fantastic reputation before introducing the program. They are a publicly traded company with physical headquarters. This, and the fact that anyone can apply to use adsense for free, has caused millions of people to sign up. For google it was a smart move, because now they extend their presence to countless websites and generate millions of dollars in advertising revenue. People were never reluctant to sign up, because the program is free. Google benefits by more people using adsense, so offering it for free was the best thing they could do.
One of the driving forced behind the program are its relevance to each and every page on a website; the program picks up keywords appearing in the website copy and automatically displays relevant ads. This increases the chances of people clicking through, and the webmaster collecting more revenue.
People are leveraging their income by operating several websites and attempting to attract as many targeted visitors as possible; in many instances we can observe that people work hard at a site, then once it is established they can largely leave it alone, yet still collect significant checks.
A major concern for entrepreneurs was the danger of a competitors ads showing up on their site; thanks to the adsense feature where it only displays relevant advertising. However this problem was solved by offering webmasters the option of filtering out unwanted ads. They can submit the URL of the competing site in their account, and any ads from the website will be blocked.
Google recently came out with a new feature: small targeted keywords based on the site's content are displayed; then as people click on those, a page opens showing a variety of pay-per-click ads based on that keyword. This gives webmasters the chance of displaying more advertising in less space.
Adsense also adds creditability to your website; the more focused the content, the better the ads will be and this encourages people to built high quality websites. These make the net a better place and generally provide a free service; site owners can afford to share their expertise or passions because they can receive indirect revenue's. The visitor does not pay for the information; instead the advertisers do, making the website's existence possible in the first place.
It is no surprise Google adsense is the most widely used form of advertising; they have created a program that is beneficial to both advertisers and users with their "no click no pay" mechanism, or more popularly called "pay-per-click". Advertisers do not pay for ads that are not drawing visitors, and website owners are paid more for each click than they would if the system were based on the number of people viewing the ads, instead of clicking on them.
All in all Google adsense has developed itself into a powerful tool, used by large corporations and the kid next door. They have truly revolutionized how the web thinks about advertising and made the process more profitable for site owners, while less costly for advertisers.

Earning from PPC Search Engine Affiliate Programs
By Jonathan White

What are PPC Search Engines?
PPC Search Engines are search engines that allow advertisers to list their site within their search results on a pay per click basis. Advertisers bid against other advertisers for the same keywords or phrases. The highest bidder will then have their site ranked #1 in the PPC Search Engine results for a certain keyword followed by the second highest bidder for the same keyword followed by the third highest bidder for the same keyword, etc.

When a visitor then does a search in the PPC Search Engine and clicks on an advertisers bided link, the advertisers account will then get deducted for that click. This only happens once per unique visitor. So if that same visitor clicked on the same advertisers bided link twice, then the advertisers account will only get deducted for the first click.

Why is it easier to earn from PPC Search Engines than other affiliate programs?
PPC Search Engine affiliate programs are a good and easy way to earn some quick cash online. It is a lot easier to earn from PPC Search Engines than most other affiliate programs because you earn from your visitors click-thru's to an advertisers site and not per action or sale.

Where can I find PPC Search Engines that offer affiliate programs?
There are only a few good resources on the Internet that lists a large amount of PPC Search Engines. Most of these are either outdated where they have a lot of PPC Search Engines that don't exist anymore or only mainly gives information about a PPC Search Engines advertising offers.

If you were looking to join some PPC Search Engines that offer affiliate programs so that you can earn some quick and easy cash, then a useful resource to use would be http://www.affiliateseeking.com/ppcaff.php.

This is because it lists over 450 PPC Search Engines where you can easily compare what each PPC Search Engines affiliate program has to offer and you can even organize the PPC Search Engines results by Date Added, Minimum Payout, Earnings, etc.

I have joined a PPC Search Engine. How do I go about advertising it so that I can earn from it?
Once you have joined a PPC Search Engine, you can then easily get promotional links/ material from the affiliate section of the PPC Search Engine account where you can then use them to advertise the PPC Search Engine that you have joined.

Most PPC Search Engines allow you to advertise them by using search boxes, an xml feed, text links, referral links, banners, a portal page, and more.
